The Boulder High School Class of 1965 held a MiniUnion August 7th 2009.  It marked the 44th year.

We want to thank Bob and Dianne Bush for aways being there to help.  Our classmate, Dianne

Schadegg Bush and her very charming and talented husband Bob Bush came early to help set up

and reserve a space for our classmates.  We appreciate the work Bob and Dianne do for our class.

Thank you Bob and Dianne!

                Bob and Dianne Bush

 It was a wild night.

Alli Bush (aka Alice Bayne) and Kathy Leachman (aka Kathy Stiles)

are looking at the hunks from the class of 1979 who were celebrating

their 30th.

Frank Lister and Gary Pine are discussing who will buy the next round of drinks.

Richard Gomez is explaining how he lost his billfold and that he needs a little

extra cash to finish off the evening.

Conard Metcalf spent much of the evening trying to find his sunglasses.  No one

would tell him they were right where he left them.

Ed Toledo brought a new "intelligence device" to the MiniUnion. He said it

helps with memory loss and dementia.  We didn't think it made any difference.

Bruce Nahrgang brought his "intelligence device" also.  However, his is

better than Eddie's because it translates Texan into English

Gil Espinoza explains to Larry Orme how a bull rider holds on

to the ears of the bull when riding in a rodeo

Ginny Pine (aka Ginny Vielehr) tossed a water balloon at Nancy Geer

and her family while Sue Dukes (aka Sue Preston) and

Richard Gomez looked on.

Nancy Geer with her family, sister Susan, mother, (Nancy), twins

Laura and Jack.  Picture taken before they got soaked!

Dick Lymon is indicating to house security who tossed the water balloon.

Bob Bush is shown here reloading the water canyon

with his special mixture of goo.

Ronny Bush and Sharon (Hammit) Miles evaluate the damage

caused by the water balloon

 Steve and Linda Thompson

"If you wake Steve up one more

time I'm going to knock your block off!"

This is Jim Baxter and his trophy wife Lynn.  She is 12.

No, they have a 12 year old.  No, she is 12 and their son is 41.

Oh, I don't know.  Jim seems OK with it.

Hey gang, this is Sherry (Spenser) and her trophy

husband Larry.  He is only 18.

Wow, look at this couple.  Jim and Kathy (Stiles)

Lechman.  Jim is also 18.

Where do our classmates find these trophy

spouses?

Speaking of trophies.  Look at what Richard Gomez landed.

Karen and Richard dated in high school. Both married several times

but after several (fill in the blanks) they finally got reunited and

the rest is history.  You need to ask them the story.

Larry and Linda (Grotzky) Orme are solid as a rock. The

little love birds are always helping with our BHS65 activities.

They are always early to arrive and the last to leave.

Ginny and Gary Pine set up their flee market (table not shown here).

They had accumulated a bunch of stuff from other flee markets (stuff

not shown here). The Millennium security (not shown here) did not have

a problem with it (most likely because the Pines gave them 10% of the gross).

We understand that the Pines netted $18 from the night.

Frank came the longest distance.  He road his motorcycle from Mancos, CO.

Nancy Geer came out from California. But, her primary reason was to

be with her family while Frank came only to be with his high school friends.

So, the blue ribbon goes to Frank.

Gary listens to Mike Bristow tell one of his stories.

Mike gets the award for being the Class Story Teller.

Terry O'Donnell giving Ronny singing

lessons.

Frank Lister explains cartography to

George Epp and his wife.

Ginny tells a long ago class secret to Sherry

and Alli.

Judy and Ed Toledo met at the roller rink.  Really, that's the truth.  Eddy

was a wiz on skates. So was Judy.  Now, they both compete in semi pro

roller skating.  Judy competes mostly in the distance circuit and Eddy competes

mostly in tricks (it figures).

It is not a coincidence that Gary Patrick (class of 1963 with Bob Bush)

was at the Millennium.  Gary is a roller skating judge.  He judges

trick skating.  There was an all-town 24 hour trick enduro event

this same weekend.  It was held in the Band Shell at Canyon and Broadway.

Sharon and De De Crow (aka Young) share a bottle of something

disguised in a water bottle.

Lewie and Sue Dukes talk with Larry and Sherry

Terry O'Donnel tells George Epp that he just won

the all expense paid trip to Zashalan, Zb.

Dianne listens in.

Kathy shows Alli her new 7.5 K diamond ring.

The Bush Boys - Ronny and Bobby

enjoying a little brotherly time  together

.

Alli and Ronny Bush wish

you all the best.

We will have our 45th Reunion

on August 6th, 7th and 8th of 2010.

If you miss this you will miss a lot.

Plan now to attend!
