This has been a busy week for me. Many classmates this past week have submitted directory information that needed to be changed or at least verified.  I can't let a questionnaire come in without going to the Odaroloc. Alice and I share stories about each of you and relive a little of our past together. I then e-mail you back with a question or two and then share the information with those on Committee who help keep records.  We then chitchat via e-mail on the new information.  It's just simply wonderful being in my seat.  I didn't say profitable.

I want to have a separate page for everyone as more detailed profile information is obtained, and especially as photos are sent.  Alumni Pages are being added to give classmates room for several photos and a short biography in addition to address and phone numbers.  This will be a good place to post pictures of kids and grandkids and vacation snap shots. This is going to take some time, but that means these pages will be constantly changing and being updated.  All the more reason to keep coming back.

It has been interesting to visit other Alumni web pages these past two month. I will never be able to keep up with the technology but my objective is not to get the web pages more advance but to keep it as personal as possible.  It will remain active beyond the reunion and as long as you encourage me to keep it going.

I'm very proud of the search team for the time and effort they are putting into updating the List of Classmates directory.  In the past, we've sent an initial mailing to the last know address.  If the mailing was not RETURNED TO SENDER we assumed the mailing hit its mark. This time, we not only did an initial mailing but we've been calling the phone numbers on record.  Two things have caused this change.  First, long distance telephone rates have come down a great deal in the past 10 years and secondly, e-mail has made it easire to communicate between the search team members.   The team divides the work and forwards the updated information to me, which I post to the web daily.  I then forward the information to Larry and Linda (Grotzky) Orme as they are the official keepers of the mailing list database.

It is a pleasure to serve the Class of 65!

All my best,
