Chatnames: If the name is rejected then you will be offered a list of other possible names. If you don't like anything on the list then try adding numbers in front or behind the Chatname you wish to use. |

When you enter the Study Hall you will not be able to see any of the previous conversations. You begin with a blank screen.
Ignore a new person entering the room. Yes, ignore them. Let them get caught up on the chat and they will speak up if they want to.

As soon as you enter the Study Hall everyone in the Hall will see your name pop up on the list.
You will not be able to see any of the conversations that have been going on. Your screen will be blank. So, when you enter the room you may want to just watch for a while; to get caught up on whatever subject is or is not being discussed.
Consider the conversation that you just missed that goes like this:
Piggy said: "have a phone call will be back in 30 minutes"
Wallnut said: "I'll raid the frig and see you in 30 then."
If you feel snubbed it may be that everyone is taking a break.
If you use a Chatname which is something other than your real name it becomes a guessing game.
Give a clue or two.
